Conference Overview
HUD’s Offices of Housing Counseling (OHC), Community Planning and Development (CPD), and Field Policy and Management (FPM) sponsored a virtual conference for housing counselors and CPD grantees to collaborate to best serve clients. This conference was held from Tuesday, May 10, 2022, to Wednesday, May 11, 2022.
This conference was intended for Housing Counseling Agencies (HCAs) and CPD grantees. During the conference, attendees:
- Became knowledgeable about the myriad of HUD programs
- Understood the roles of HCAs in supporting homeless, rental, and homebuyer programs
- Learned about building relationships among these programs on a local and state level
