HOPWA Oversight Training

The HOPWA Oversight Training helps Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) grantees and their project sponsors improve the management and oversight of their HOPWA activities. This set of self-paced online learning modules is a companion to the HOPWA Grantee Oversight Resource Guide. Participants will:

  1. Understand the Federal laws and regulations that govern the use of HOPWA resources
  2. Gain the ability to apply applicable laws and regulations to HOPWA projects
  3. Develop their capacity to conduct monitoring (for HOPWA grantees) and self-monitoring (for HOPWA grantees and sponsors)
  4. Improve overall management of HOPWA projects and activities

Access the Training

  1. Click the title of the module you want to access.
  2. You will be prompted to either create or log into your HUD Exchange Learn account.
  3. If you need to create an account, Click Create an Account.
  4. Fill out the form, and click the Create Account  button.
  5. Your account has been created. You will receive a confirmation email.
  6. After creating an account or logging in, the training will launch in a new window. Make sure your pop-up blockers are turned off.

Take the Quiz to Complete the Training

To receive credit for completing the training which includes all three modules, you must do the following:

  1. Complete all three modules.
  2. Take the Completion Quiz. You can access the quiz by clicking the button or by closing the Module 3 window after completing the module. You will be taken to the training page in HUD Exchange Learn. Click the Completion Quiz link under Activities.
  3. After taking the quiz, an option to download and print a certificate will appear on the Module 3 HUD Exchange Learn page.

You can access the satisfaction feedback form by clicking the button or closing the Module 3 window after completing the module. You will be taken to the training page in HUD Exchange Learn.
