Due to the lapse in Congressional Appropriations for Fiscal Year 2019, the U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) is closed. This website is supported by a cooperative agreement funded under a prior appropriation. Current functions will remain operational but no new functions will be added during the lapse in appropriations. For more information, see HUD Contingency Plan for Possible Lapse in Appropriations.

HOME Workshops: HUD is pleased to announce a new series of Workshops to brief Participating Jurisdictions (PJs) on the new 2013 HOME Final Rule. These workshops will feature presentations on the changes to the HOME Final Rule, and how those changes will impact current policies and procedures.

These regionally focused Workshops are targeted towards HOME PJs. The workshop presentations will cover topics such as timeliness requirements, CHDO requirements, market assessments, rental projects, and homebuyer projects. Don’t miss this opportunity to meet with experts on how the new 2013 HOME Final Rule will impact your projects.

Who Should Attend

All participants are expected to have a strong understanding of the HOME Program. These Workshops are only open to PJs with 5 or more years of experience with the HOME Program. Because of space limitations, participation is limited to two registrants per PJ.

PJ staff from the states listed for each Workshop will be given priority to attend that location. PJs from outside of those states will be waitlisted and only permitted to attend if space is available.
