Using HUD's CNA e-Tool for RAD Transactions

This webinar provides an overview of HUD's Capital Needs Assessment (CNA) e-Tool and requirements for its use in Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) transactions. Emphasis is provided on reviewing and submitting the CNA e-Tool for various types of RAD transactions, and the resources available to assist CNA e-Tool users. Separate training is already available for assessors in completing the e-Tool. This training will focus on the role of PHAs reviewing the e-Tool provided by an independent assessor and then submitting the e-Tool to the RAD Resource Desk as part of the PHA's Financing Plan submission, including an overview of the e-Tool's functionality.

Participants will learn:

  • Requirements for using HUD's CNA e-Tool in RAD transactions
  • Unique aspects of reviewing and submitting the CNA e-Tool for a RAD transaction
  • Resources that are available to assist CNA e-Tool users

Who Should Attend

This webinar is relevant to public housing authorities, mod-rehab property owners, and capital needs assessors participating in RAD transactions. This webinar is limited to 1,000 participants and registration for this training will close 24 hours before the webinar begins.
