HUD presented Using Career Pathways – a webinar designed for Resident Opportunities and Self Sufficiency (ROSS) service coordinators.

This webinar was the second in a series of three webinars designed to present in-depth information for use by ROSS service coordinators. The goal of this series was to present best practice information on resident engagement strategies, connection with career pathways, and use of motivational interviewing.

This webinar focused on the use of career pathways for residents participating in the ROSS program and the issues associated with identifying and engaging with strong partners to make such programs available. The webinar was presented live and provided an opportunity for question and answer.

Training Objectives

This webinar taught ROSS service coordinators:

  • How to identify career pathways strategies
  • How to find the right career pathways partners
  • How to establish and maintain the most effective employment partnerships for the benefit of ROSS participants

This training was intended for ROSS service coordinators.
