The New Way to Amend Consolidated Plans and Annual Action Plans in the eCon Planning Suite Webinar

The Office of Community Planning and Development (CPD) held a Question and Answer (Q&A) webinar for all State and Entitlement grantees on the new process for amending Consolidated Plans and Annual Action Plans (AAPs) in the eCon Planning Suite. This session also reviewed the process, timing, and steps required to complete amendments.
The Integrated Disbursement and Information System (IDIS) Online Release 11.19, which went live on December 23, 2019, introduced a significant change to how both Consolidated Plans and AAPs are amended in the eCon Planning Suite. The new amendment process enables grantees to edit, modify, and resubmit amended plans that have been previously submitted and reviewed by HUD. The webinar included an overview and demonstration of the new amendment process. HUD and technical assistance providers answered questions regarding the eCon Planning Suite and Consolidated Plan process submitted by participants during the presentation.

- Why and when to make amendments in the eCon Planning Suite
- How to amend Consolidated Plans and AAPs in the system
- How amendments are reviewed by HUD
- Special considerations for the Consortium lead and participating jurisdictions
