The Office of HIV/AIDS Housing hosted a training Institute for HOPWA funded grantees and project sponsors to ensure that all local HOPWA programs had the same thorough understanding of the Housing Opportunities for Persons With AIDS (HOPWA) program. The HOPWA Institute focused on:

  • formula modernization
  • financial management
  • monitoring
  • indirect costs
  • rental assistance
  • supportive services
  • and other topics

The HOPWA Institute was an interactive event with breakout sessions, general discussions, topical speed clinics, and a resource room.
