Streamlined Processing for RAD

HUD hosted a webinar that discussed the benefits of the Rental Assistance Demonstration (RAD) conversion and the eligibility requirements for Section 8 Moderate Rehabilitation (Mod Rehab) and Mod Rehab Single-Room Occupancy (SRO) properties for streamlined processing.
Section 8 Mod Rehab and Mod Rehab SRO properties are comprised of 33,000 units, of which 13,000 to 15,000 are in properties of 20 units or less. These properties may be eligible for streamlined processing in order to apply for conversion to long-term Housing Assistance Payment contracts through RAD.
