The Office of Block Grant Assistance (OBGA) Disaster Recovery and Special Issues Division (DRSI) is hosting a webinar series for Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) and Community Development Block Grant Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) grantees to provide an introduction to each program.

This webinar went through the foundational elements of CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT funded homeowner rehabilitation and reconstruction programs and then took a deeper dive into the pros and cons of different program types. It also included some critical "lessons learned" from prior CDBG-DR programs.

This webinar is a part of the CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT Summer 2020 webinar series.

Training Objectives

Participants learned to:

  • Understand single family rehabilitation programs in the CDBG-DR/CDBG-MIT context
  • Understand the pros and cons of different program structures
