The Office of Housing and the Office of Environment and Energy hosted a webinar for Multifamily and Office of Residential Care Federal Housing Administration (FHA) applicants and third-party consultants on how to meet Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act requirements.

Training Objectives

Participants learned how to:

  • Document and prepare Section 106 Historic Preservation submissions in support of applications for Multifamily and Office of Residential Care FHA programs
  • Comply with specific Multifamily Accelerated Processing (MAP) Guide and 232 Handbook requirements
  • Submit historic preservation documentation for HUD applications that more fully address regulatory requirements and avoid processing delays
