HUD’s Office of Affordable Housing Programs (OAHP) is sponsoring a PJ Peer Group in Newark, NJ on issues surrounding Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) designation and capacity building.

This Peer Group session is a one-day in-person session that includes additional training for PJs and problem solving discussions. Attendees will be provided with “beta” versions of sample tools being developed for broader national publication and will be given the opportunity to provide input on what other tools PJs most need for assessing and building CHDO capacity.

All PJs are invited to attend, but PJs will generally be limited to 2 participants. Attendance at a previous CHDO Opportunities in HOME course or the May 17-18, 2016 class prior to the PJ Peer Group is strongly encouraged. OAHP is particularly interested in PJs struggling to identify capable CHDOs.

Please note that submitting a registration request does not guarantee you a seat at the training. Due to limited space, registrations will be reviewed and approved prior to confirmation. You will receive a confirmation email if you are accepted into the training. Please do not make non-refundable travel arrangements until you receive a confirmation email from the Training Point of Contact.
