The Public Housing Calculation Impact and Strategy training will help Public Housing Agencies (PHA) grantees understand how public housing occupancy is calculated and improved, thereby increasing their capacity to identify internal risks and opportunities.

This training series will provide PHAs across the U.S. with a series of requirements, conditions, and terms associated with each unit sub-category and improve the performance and management of Operating Subsidy funds (OSF). The training materials will help PHAs gain a thorough understanding of a wide spectrum of topics related to occupancy as well as knowledge on how to develop and implement solutions.

Training Objectives

PHA grantees will learn to:

  • The understanding of Physical Assessment Subsystem (PASS) and learn best practices to prepare for Real Estate Assessment Center (REAC) inspection
  • Top-rated/most common deficiencies and Exigent Health and Safety (EH&S) reporting requirements

Who Should Attend?

This training is intended for all PHA staff.
