NCRC Training: Racial Equity Basics: An Actionable Plan Forward

This training introduces the history of race and racism in the United States. This training also discusses tangible examples of what racial equity work looks like and how it can be done within organizations, as well as how racism may show up within organizations. We all have a role to play in establishing an anti-racist society.
This training covers:
- Key concepts regarding race and racism in the United States
- How racial wealth inequalities are in the historical fabric of our nation which continues to create racialized policies and perpetuate systemic racism that impacts People of Color
- How change must occur at all levels (individual, organization, institutional) through advocacy and programmatic efforts
