This training session discusses opportunities and strategies for nonprofit capacity building and highlighting emerging promising practices to help your organizations.
The wage gap is one of the most significant drivers of racial economic inequality for people of color. In New Orleans, households of color are over six times more likely to live in income poverty and three times more likely to be unemployed in comparison to white households. This session is designed to empower front line staff members and workforce development service providers to operate programs that include a racial equity lens.
Training topics include:
- Housing advocacy and racial economic inequality
- Targeted fundraising strategies
- Grant writing preparation
