This webinar provided an overview of the U.S. Department of the Treasury’s (Treasury’s) Homeowner Assistance Fund (HAF). HUD's Office of Housing Counseling (OHC) was joined by the Treasury, the Federal Housing Administration (FHA), and the Consumer Finance Protection Bureau (CFPB) to discuss what the HAF is, the status of implementation across the U.S., and how it can be used to best address the needs of homeowners.

This session also involved a panel of program implementers as well as resources that are available nationally from Federal Agencies and the National Council of State Housing Agencies (NCSHA).

Participants learned:

  • About the HAF
  • How to leverage state and territory resources with HAF
  • How to effectively serve their client with HAF dollars
