Effective monitoring is an ongoing process of planning, implementation, communication, and follow-up. Monitoring involves many people from inside and outside the HOME Participating Jurisdiction (PJ) and requires detailed information, reports, meetings, and documentation.

This webinar provided foundational information on HOME monitoring, including an introduction of the CPD Monitoring Handbook and HOME monitoring exhibits.

This webinar is part of the HOME Monitoring Webinar Series on PJs' responsibility to monitor HOME Program projects. View all webinars in the HOME Monitoring Webinar Series. Note: It was recommended that participants attended this first session which prepared them for the other webinars in the series.

Training Objectives

The webinar:

  • Provided an overview and conceptual framework for the webinar series topics and materials
  • Established the regulatory context for PJ monitoring in the HOME Program
  • Introduced the CPD Monitoring Guide and HUD monitoring of PJs

Who Should Attend?

This series was intended for PJ staff and their partners, including State recipients, subrecipients, and contractors working with HOME funds. All series participants should have attended this session.
