In this session of the Fair Housing 2021: What Counselors Need to Know Conference, the responsibilities of HUD's Office of Fair Housing and Equal Opportunity (FHEO) and its role in enforcing fair housing policies and processing complaints were explained. Housing counselors also received guidance in identifying potential fair housing violations, when and where to refer clients for help, and what tools are available to support them and their agencies.
