The HUD Environmental Officers of Region X are conducting a free, three-day environmental review training specifically for Responsible Entities and consultants undertaking HUD projects in Washington State. Other participants will be admitted into the class based on availability of space.

Specific topics to be addressed include the National Environmental Policy Act, Section 106 of the National Historic Preservation Act, updated endangered species process, wetlands, floodplain management and flood insurance, environmental justice, noise abatement, toxic and hazardous substances. We will also cover procedural requirements of 24 CFR Part 58, including recommended formats for compliance documentation
