This training provides timely guidance on critical issues regarding the selection and management of subrecipients. Participants will learn:

  • The types of activities to carry out
  • How to develop and enforce strong subrecipient agreements
  • How to improve subrecipient performance through training, technical assistance, and monitoring
  • How to develop reliable systems and procedures for tracking subrecipient performance

This 2-day training includes a combination of lecture and hands-on exercises.

Who Should Attend?

Effective Management of CDBG Subrecipients is appropriate for any grantee staff who is currently managing CDBG, and especially for staff who is less experienced and is considering strengthening its programs. Grantees may register for any course location.

Additional Information

Due to limited space, registrations will be reviewed. Please note that a maximum of two staff members per grantee will be allowed to attend the training session.
