The Office of Block Grant Assistance (OBGA) Disaster Recovery and Special Issues Division (DRSI) hosted a webinar series for Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) and Community Development Block Grant Mitigation (CDBG-MIT) grantees to provide an introduction to each program.
This webinar was a walkthrough of the duplication of benefits (DOB) requirements, including the recently published notice, as well as a "how-to" of completing and documenting the analysis.
This webinar was a part of the CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT Summer 2020 Webinar Series.
Training Objectives
In this webinar, participants learned:
- What constitutes a DOB
- How to review various sources of assistance and establish if a DOB exists
- How to calculate DOB
Who Should Attend?
This webinar series was intended for all new CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT grantees. As space permitted, partners such as subrecipients and developers, as well as more seasoned CDBG-DR grantee staff, attended. A recording of each webinar is posted on the HUD Exchange so grantees can view the webinar.
