Community Dashboards – A Journey of Data, Information, and Storytelling
May 05, 2020 | 10:30 AM - 11:30 AM EDT
This community session is part of the Spring 2020 NHSDC HUD Virtual Conference. The materials are not official HUD resources and may not be in alignment with HUD guidance.
This session covered core principles of data analytics (descriptive, diagnostic, predictive, and prescriptive), differences between raw data and aggregate data, and how data can be transformed into useful information for stakeholders and the community at large.
By creating unique, yet simple, data dashboards, insights can be quickly gleaned, positively affecting a wide possibility of areas such as data quality, racial disparity, and system performance. This is the power of community dashboards.
