CNA e-Tool: How to Address Flags
April 24, 2018 | 3:00 PM - 4:00 PM EDT
This training was part of a virtual classroom curriculum in which participants learned about various aspects of the Capital Needs Assessment (CNA) e-Tool, specifically, issues that HUD has detected that cause a CNA submission to be rejected. In this training, participants saw examples of acceptable and unacceptable flag notes and learned how to ensure the HUD reviewer would have sufficient information to determine whether conclusions were appropriate. During the first part of the class, the instructor discussed flags and what type of information to provide in flag notes. During the second part of the class, participants were able to ask questions and discuss CNA e-Tool addressing flags and preparing acceptable flag notes, barriers to developing useful flag notes, and ways to resolve these barriers.
- Learn how to use Flag Notes to help your HUD reviewer quickly review and accept your CNA e-Tool
- Understand where to access available resources and tools
