In this webinar, a panel of Community Development Block Grant CARES Act (CDBG-CV) grantees from across the country will share best practices to implement successful building and public facility improvements in response to COVID-19.

This webinar is part of a webinar series hosted by the Office of Block Grant Assistance (OBGA) for CDBG-CV grantees on best practices for CDBG-CV project implementation. HUD identified a dynamic group of communities across the country that have designed and are implementing high-impact projects and activities while efficiently expending CDBG-CV funding. Training Objectives

Participants will:

  • Learn unique approaches to identify and solve challenges in the successful implementation of CDBG-CV public facilities, such as expanding the size of shelters and health clinics, installing broadband, and developing building improvement programs in response to COVID-19
  • Gain understanding of effective, replicable, best practice models to implement in their CDBG-CV programs
