HUD’s Office of Special Needs Assistance Programs (SNAPS) and technical assistance partners ICF and Homebase hosted a webinar that:

  • Focused on the core components of developing a coordinated community response and how communities can start now on youth system planning
  • Reviewed the components and actions needed for the development of a strong youth homelessness response system

During this webinar, a panel of Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) communities provided key insights and lessons learned from their youth system planning process. The panel discussion addressed key considerations for incorporating equity and authentic youth engagement into local system planning processes and spoke to the unique experiences of urban, suburban, and rural communities. View the supporting resource, YHDP Foundations & Beyond: Coordinated Community Plan, for additional information.
