The Denver Basically CDBG for States Training is appropriate for state staff who are new to the CDBG Program and for experienced staff seeking a refresher on the program. Location U.S. Department of HUD 1670 Broadway 20th Floor Conference Room Denver, CO 80202 This delivery of Basically CDBG for States includes: July 9-11: 2.5 days of Basically CDBG for States training July 11: .5 days of NSP training (second half of the final day of Basically CDBG for States training) Registrants who receive CDBG funds only may plan to leave the workshop after that section of the training. Registrants from organizations that also receive NSP funds should plan to stay through that section of the training. Please note, your enrollment in the class does not guarantee approval. You will receive a confirmation email entitled “Confirmation_Basically CDBG” once your enrollment has been approved. Please do not make any non-refundable travel arrangements until you receive an email confirmation notice. HUD cannot be responsible for penalties incurred due to cancelled arrangements. Grantees are limited initially to two staff members. Additional members, CDBG and CDBG-DR subrecipient staff, and the staff of nonprofit subrecipients and local governments that are funded/receive funds from a state will be waitlisted and will only be permitted to register if the training does not reach capacity. Due to the limited availability of training seats, for-profit corporations, consultants, consulting firms, and grants administrators are not permitted to register for Basically CDBG classes.
