2022 ConnectHomeUSA - Broadband 101: Connectivity Solutions

This webinar will provide an opportunity for ConnectHomeUSA and the Institute for Local Self-Reliance (ILSR) Community Broadband Networks Initiative to introduce broadband technology solutions relevant to HUD-assisted communities. ILSR will review strategies for expanding broadband access in HUD-assisted communities and considerations for long-lasting solutions.

This webinar is part of an ongoing series that aims to help ConnectHomeUSA communities, other Public Housing Authorities (PHAs), and tribes achieve their goals in connecting households to affordable broadband service, devices, and digital literacy training. Training Objectives

Participants will be able to:

  • Improve their understanding of broadband technology solutions and identify tradeoffs
  • Feel confident speaking with Internet Service Providers (ISPs) and other stakeholders about broadband solutions
  • Identify other information and training resources related to broadband

This webinar is intended for ConnectHomeUSA communities and program staff as well as other HUD-assisted communities working to improve access to affordable broadband service.
