2022 ConnectHomeUSA - Affordable Connectivity Program for CHUSA Communities
March 15, 2022 | 2:00 PM - 3:30 PM EDT
Online
The Federal Communications Commission (FCC)'s new Affordable Connectivity Program (ACP) replaces the Emergency Broadband Benefit program (EBB) to provide eligible households with a discount on broadband service and connected devices. This program is essential to the work of ConnectHomeUSA communities, other Public Housing Agencies (PHAs), and tribes who are interested in connecting their residents to low-cost broadband service and devices.
In this webinar, presented by HUD's ConnectHomeUSA program, representatives from the FCC provided an overview of the new program and best practices for resident engagement, outreach, and program enrollment.
This webinar is part of an ongoing series that aims to help ConnectHomeUSA communities, other PHAs, and tribes achieve their goals in connecting households to affordable broadband service, devices, and digital literacy training. View all webinars in the ConnectHomeUSA Webinar Series.
