2021 ConnectHomeUSA - Working with Libraries: Best Practices and Case Study Examples

Libraries play a critical role in providing key services and programs to communities across the United States, often acting as anchor institutions and bringing crucial resources to low-income residents. Libraries also have a long history of partnering with Public Housing Authorities (PHAs) and ConnectHomeUSA communities to provide access to broadband and education resources.
In this webinar, representatives from Libraries Without Borders US (LWB US) will highlight relevant projects from across the country, sharing best practice tips on how to engage and work with public libraries and other stakeholders and organizations. LWB US is a non-profit organization that transforms underused spaces into connected learning places, delivering access to information, technology, and cultural resources, with a particular emphasis on underserved communities.

Who Should Attend?
This webinar is intended for PHA staff and community members responsible for ConnectHomeUSA program implementation should attend. Community members from non-ConnectHomeUSA communities interested in bridging the digital divide for PHA or other HUD-assisted housing programs are welcome to attend.
