2021 ConnectHomeUSA - FCC’s New Emergency Broadband Benefit Program Overview

During this webinar, representatives from the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) discussed the new Emergency Broadband Benefit (EBB) Program funded by Congress to help low-income Americans cover the costs of in-home broadband service during the pandemic. The benefit may also cover a one-time subsidy toward a computing device.

- Eligibility requirements including how to register
- Information on how to become an outreach partner

Who Should Attend?
This webinar was intended for Public Housing Authority (PHA) staff and community members responsible for ConnectHomeUSA program implementation. Community members from non-ConnectHomeUSA communities interested in bridging the digital divide for PHA or other HUD-assisted housing programs were welcome to attend.
