2020 Public Housing Repositioning: Wednesday Webinar Series - Resident Considerations

HUD's Office of Public and Indian Housing (PIH) is hosting a 2020 Public Housing Repositioning Wednesday Webinar Series to explain and discuss common issues in the repositioning process. Each webinar starts with a one-hour presentation from HUD program experts; the discussion topics vary each month. This is followed by another hour of participant questions and answers.

The Resident Considerations webinar discussed the requirements for resident notification, consultation, and relocation for the various repositioning tools and reviews resources for tenants.

Training Objectives

This webinar enabled Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) to:

  • Understand the resident consideration portion of asset repositioning
  • Identify appropriate repositioning strategies to adopt at their agency given the important resident considerations

Who Should Attend?

This webinar was relevant to PHA directors, staff, residents, board members, and others working with PHAs to develop and execute a repositioning strategy.
