2020 Public Housing Repositioning: Wednesday Webinar Series - Options for Scattered-Site Units

HUD's Office of Public and Indian Housing (PIH) is hosting a 2020 Public Housing Repositioning Wednesday Webinar Series to explain and discuss common issues in the repositioning process. Each webinar will start with a one-hour presentation from HUD program experts; the discussion topics will vary each month. This will be followed by another hour of participant questions and answers.

The Options for Scattered-Site Units webinar discusses requirements for Public Housing Agencies (PHAs) interested in removing units through the Section 18 scattered-site criteria in Notice PIH 2018-04 and the process for either disposing of the units or preserving them for Project-Based Voucher assistance.

Training Objectives

This webinar will enable PHAs with scattered-site units to:

  • Understand the various asset repositioning strategies available
  • Gain a deeper understanding of how to move forward with repositioning of scattered-site units

Who Should Attend?

This webinar is relevant to PHA directors, staff, residents, board members, and others working with PHAs to develop and execute a repositioning strategy.
