2019 Building HOME Webinar Series III
May 1-22, 2019
HUD's Office of Affordable Housing Programs (OAHP) is again offering the virtual delivery of the Building HOME training series in 2019.
The virtual delivery of Building HOME provides an overview of the HOME Investment Partnerships Program (HOME), including the latest requirements codified in the HOME Final Rule. Through this training, participants become familiar with all program activities, including homeowner and homebuyer, rental housing, Tenant Based Rental Assistance (TBRA), and Community Housing Development Organization (CHDO) activities. TBRA is presented during the first half of the final Office Hour for each series to allow the Session 4 to focus on Rental Housing.

Participants are expected to attend all 4 sessions in the series. Sessions will be recorded and posted to allow registered participants who may have a scheduling conflict during a webinar session the opportunity to makeup the session. Participants must have registered for completion of the series to qualify as the pre-requisite for future HOME certification.
Although some PJ staff may participate in a group setting, each participant will need to register individually for completion of the series and to satisfy the requirement of Building HOME as a prerequisite for all HOME topical courses.
