2018-2019 ConnectHomeUSA - Introduction to GitHub
July 30, 2019 | 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EDT
Successful ConnectHomeUSA (CHUSA) communities recognize the need to work with public, private, and philanthropic partners to obtain funding commitments to cover costs associated with securing devices, connectivity, and to provide digital literacy training. GitHub, a CHUSA stakeholder, generously provides grant resources to CHUSA communities.
In this webinar, Toya East, Program Manager, and Patrick East, Community Manager, discussed GitHub's grant offerings, their digital collaboration tool, and how their work can help advance your digital inclusion efforts.
This webinar covered:
- Concepts to help meet ConnectHomeUSA program goals
- ConnectHomeUSA community best practices
Who Should Attend?
Public Housing Authority (PHA) staff and community members responsible for ConnectHomeUSA program implementation should have attended. Community members from non-ConnectHomeUSA communities interested in bridging the digital divide for PHA or other HUD-assisted housing programs were welcome to attend.
