2017-2018 ConnectHome - Using HUD Form-50058 for ConnectHome Data Collection and Reporting
December 18, 2018 | 2:00 PM - 3:00 PM EST
Possessing quality data is paramount for any program – good data can show program managers how well they’re doing, and it can provide information funders are looking for when making decisions about programs to support. However, having a process to collect and interpret data can be difficult. If you’re looking for a data collection system to support your ConnectHome efforts, look no further. HUD has a ready-made solution for you!
HUD Form-50058 is used to recertify residents for public housing on an annual basis. This form can also be used to track data related to ConnectHome. HUD can collect the data and provide you with the results.
Join us for this month’s ConnectHome webinar which features two speakers who explain using HUD Form-50058 to support your ConnectHome data needs. Dylan Sweeney of HUD’s Office of Policy, Development and Research (PD&R) will discuss how to use HUD Form-50058 to collect ConnectHome data, and Charlie Francis of RI Housing will discuss how his agency has been using the form for this very purpose.
This webinar covers:
- How to use the HUD Form-50058 for tracking ConnectHome data
- Training of recertification staff
- Best practices for data collection
- What data collected means about your program
- Concepts to help meet ConnectHome program goals
- ConnectHome community best practices
