Computer literacy is an essential skill, and like any other skill, it is one that children can lose over the summer months if they lack digital access and educational opportunities. Representatives from two ConnectHomeUSA stakeholders, ABC Mouse and the Boys and Girls Clubs of America, shared information about their work and the resources they provide to ConnectHome communities.
Training Objectives
- Understand ConnectHome Playbook chapter topics and application
- Understand concepts to help meet ConnectHome program goals
- Learn ConnectHome community best practices
Who Should Attend?
This training was intended for Public Housing Authority (PHA) staff and community members responsible for ConnectHome program implementation. Community members from non-ConnectHome communities interested in bridging the digital divide for PHA or other HUD-assisted housing programs were welcome to attend.
