CDBG-DR Regional Training will include sessions on determining disaster recovery awards, an overview of the purpose and uses of CDBG disaster recovery (CDBG-DR) grants, an introduction to the Disaster Recovery Grant Reporting (DRGR) system, assessing disaster recovery needs, action plan development, keys to effective grant administration, and environmental compliance. The training will include panel presentations from grantees and HUD staff and roundtable discussions so grantees have an opportunity to learn from each other.
Note, this training spans 3 days. The first day will start in the afternoon and the last day will end in the early afternoon. More specific information will be provided in the confirmation letter.

Who Should Attend
Grantees from the Northeast and Southeast should register for the New Orleans conference. Grantees from the Midwest should register for the Chicago conference.
*Due to space limitations, a limited number of participants from each state will be permitted to attend. Once the registration window has closed, an email will be sent to you to confirm your reservation for the training.
Please note, your enrollment in the training does not guarantee approval. You will receive a confirmation email titled "Confirmation_CDBG-DR" once your enrollment has been approved. Please do not make any non-refundable travel arrangements until you receive an email confirmation notice. HUD cannot be responsible for penalties incurred due to cancelled arrangements.
