The following are details of the RC project:
Type of project proposed. A single-family house, providing permanent supportive housing for five men with mental illnesses and a resident house manager.
Proposed capital funding sources. Acquisition and renovation costs will be covered by capital funding from the state department of mental health, a foundation grant, and contributions from individuals. The balance of permanent financing will be arranged with a local bank.
Proposed operating funding sources. On an ongoing basis, RC will receive 30 percent of each resident's monthly income. RC will receive reimbursement for some services provided to residents from Medicaid and from the state mental health and substance abuse agency. In addition, RC plans to fund operations using foundation grants and contributions from individuals.
