Disaster Recovery Library: Recordkeeping

All grantees must maintain records necessary to demonstrate compliance with Title I of the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974, as amended, the CDBG regulations, Federal Register notices, and any other policies or guidance provided by HUD. These records include but are not limited to general administrative records, financial records, project/activity records, records related to duplication of benefits and tie to the disaster, environmental review, and procurement records. Grantees must ensure that their subrecipients maintain such records as well.
