Disaster Recovery Library: Climate Action and Resilience

CDBG-DR and CDBG-MIT grantees can consider eligible activities to reduce the effects of natural hazards and make their communities more resilient. These activities may include changes to building materials and methods in construction and rehabilitation of housing, infrastructure and public facilities, as well as actions that help improve the natural environment to increase community resilience. These activities can reduce the impacts of future disasters as required for CDBG-MIT mitigation activities.
