There are a broad range of resilience actions that local and state governments can implement to address impacts from various climate hazards. Resilient public facilities are designed, built, or retrofit with a focus on resilience, through sustainable features and the ability to serve as a safe community gathering space.

This Climate Resilience Implementation Guide provides step-by-step instructions to assist communities in implementing a resilient public facilities project or program. Grantees are encouraged to use this guide for suggestions on how to effectively use Community Planning and Development (CPD)-funded programs and other resources to design and implement such solutions.
