This resource is intended for Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) grantees developing, rehabilitating or relocating single family units as rental projects in response to a disaster. This guide and worksheet are used to calculate the total development and operating budget. Users enter the development budget (Tab A) and operating budget data (Tab B) in the fields highlighted in green. Once data entry is complete, the development budget calculates the gap to be funded by CDBG-DR (or other funding sources) and calculates the operating budget for a twenty-year term (Tab C).
