The Approaches for COVID-19 Homeless Response document provides guidance to Continuum of Cares (CoCs) considering non-congregate approaches to sheltering people who are homeless that are symptomatic or in high risk categories, such as seniors or people with chronic illness, when designing local approaches. Coordination with public health partners is essential in design, resource investment and staffing considerations.
The Recommendations for Requests for Assistance document provides State, Tribal, Territorial, and Local (SLTT) governments technical assistance when developing a non-congregate sheltering authorization request for FEMA Public Assistance.
