Framework for Food and Farming in Northwest Michigan

This Northwest Michigan regional food and farming framework is a draft plan to ensure continued viability of the region’s food and farming economy. The plan includes information on agricultural land and production, the farm economy and regional food system, the agricultural workforce, food access and health, and strategies to address local food and farming related issues.
