Fair Housing and Equity Assessment (FHEA) for Vision West ND

Date Published: December 2014

This FHEA helps further Vision West ND’s mission to create strong, sustainable, inclusive communities and quality affordable homes for all. Rather than rely solely on enforcement, it is through processes like this FHEA that fair housing and equity can be considered and built into the development of economic opportunity. This includes the development and design of affordable housing in areas of opportunity and areas of need. This also includes the built environment enabling biking, walking, recreation and transportation options as well as environmental considerations towards health and safety. Given the opportunity to inclusively plan and design for all of these elements, communities can achieve smart and sustainable growth.
