Affordable Housing Study: The Housing Suitability Model for East Central FL

Description

This study uses an innovative GIS tool to evaluate the suitability of locations for the development and preservation of affordable housing in East Central Florida. The tool maps locational data in a spatial array to consider how various factors play out in relation to proximity to the new SunRail commuter rail line. The study also examines the relationship of opportunity variables from the regions' Fair Housing and Equity Assessment (FHEA).
