The Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing Data and Mapping Tool (AFFH-T) is publicly available and also for use by program participants to access HUD-provided data to conduct the fair housing analysis required as part of the Assessment of Fair Housing.
September 29, 2017 - HUD has updated the Affirmatively Furthering Fair Housing (AFFH) Data and Mapping Tool (AFFH-T). AFFH-T Release 4.1 will include functionality for some Public Housing Agency (PHA) maps and tables, additional features for the beta versions of state maps and tables, and other enhancements to the user experience. Users will be able to use the updated maps and tables, and will also continue to have access to existing maps and tables that are currently available in AFFH-T Release 4.0 (data versions AFFHT0001, AFFHT0002 and AFFHT0003). By default, maps and tables for local governments continue to populate with AFFHT0003 (the HUD-provided data version AFFHT0003, that was released on July 20, 2017).
July 20, 2017 - HUD updated data for the maps and tables in the AFFH-T. This latest data version is labeled ‘AFFHT0003.’ Users will be able to use this version of updated maps and tables, and will also continue to have access to existing maps and tables that are currently available in AFFH-T (data versions AFFHT0001 and AFFHT0002). HUD has updated its AFFH-T resources on the HUD Exchange, including the AFFH-T Data Documentation, AFFH-T User Guide, and AFFH-T Raw Data files to reflect this new data version.
May 18, 2016 - A map rendering update has been made to the AFFH-T: Updated R/ECAP map data from 2006-2010 ACS to 2009-2013 ACS.
