This document provides links to financing resources that are useful to owners seeking to preserve their HUD Multfamily affordable rental housing. Items include general resources for preservation transactions, such as HUD, Housing Finance Agency (HFA), and training resources. Links to sources on regulatory options for Section 202 Direct Loans, Section 236, and LIPHRHA/ELIHPA properties are provided. In addition, links to Refinancing resources include multifamily refinancing loans (FHA loans, HFA loans, Fannie Mae, Freddic Mac); tax credits (LIHTC, Historic Tax Credits, New Market Tax Credits); and Soft Loan and grant financing (HOME, CDBG, housing trust funds, and FHLB). Federal, state, and private resources are provided for energy-saving retrofit financing.
