This resource page provides Continuums of Care (CoCs) access to several tools to help them effectively implement their 2018 Point-in-Time (PIT) counts of homeless people. CoCs should refer to HUD's most current Notice for Housing Inventory Count (HIC) and PIT Data Collection for CoC and Emergency Solutions Grants (ESG) Programs to learn the PIT count requirements for the 2018 PIT count. CoCs should also refer to HUD's Point-in-Time Count Methodology Guide for standards and guidance concerning acceptable methodologies and approaches to conducting PIT counts.
