Example of Homeownership Documents for Demolition for NSP

This component of the NSP Demolition Toolkit is intended for grantees and their partners that need to provide documentation proving property ownership prior to undertaking demolition activities. This document set includes the following example documents, which can be provided to municipalities in order to verify ownership of a property intended for demolition:

  • Quitclaim Deed
  • Jurisdictional Transfer Affidavit
  • Quiet Title Request
  • Quiet Title Judgment
  • Title Commitment
