The Youth Homelessness Demonstration Program (YHDP) is an exciting new initiative designed to reduce the number of youth experiencing homelessness.
On January 13, 2017, HUD announced $33 million in funding to 10 communities committed to ending youth homelessness. 130 communities submitted applications, taking an important step in preventing and ending youth homelessness. HUD congratulates the 10 selected communities, commends all communities who applied, and is committed to supporting them, regardless of whether they were selected.
Weren't selected? Didn't submit an application? Selected and want to hit the ground running? Resources are available on the Resources for Homeless Youth Service Providers page.
